March saw our section AGM, and the current committee was again re-elected so I can only assume we are doing an OK job. It was good to see Mike Peacock out and about again too following his recent hip replacement.
The clocks will be going forward at the weekend and we’ll get some longer evenings.
Our riding events for 2025 start with the Oatcake Run on Sunday April 6th - details on the Events page. This is route sheet run so don't forget your route rollers. There are 2 optional routes of 37 and 49 miles.
The last clubnight before we switch to evening runs over the summer will be a talk by local member Rob Sawyer about his time at Hesketh Motorcycles. This will be on Thursday April 10th at Moorville Hall.
2 changes to note on the 2025 calendar. The evening run on 8th May will be led by Ian Pettifor - details to follow. And the Wistanstow Show has been cancelled this year.
