Unfortunately the clubnight on Thursday 11^th with David Hulse talking about early developments in steam power had to be cancelled. A new date will be arranged in due course.

The lunchtime pre-Christmas social has been set for Friday 19th December, 12 noon onwards at Wetherspoons in Stone.

I have dished out a few hard copies of the 2026 section calendar and will carry a few around with me in case anyone else wants one. It’s also downloadable from the Events page here and details of all runs and meetings are also listed individually.

In case I forget before the end of December we'll be in Leek at noon on New Year’s Day for our 2026 Hangover Run. As in the last couple of years I'm going to save myself a job and recycle one of Geoff Davies' old routes, although I will go out and do a recce.

When you get your December magazine, you should also get a 2026 calendar. Within this is our special one-off ISDT Centenary event on 17th June. The team have been working on the planning and more details will be available shortly.
