The North Staffordshire Section of the VMCC was founded in 1978 and celebrated its 45th Anniversary in 2023.

Although open to all VMCC members, most of our regulars are from Staffordshire, the Potteries, Leek/Moorlands and South Cheshire. We arrange social runs on most Sundays from April onwards, and also on Thursday evenings in the summer. All types of bikes are welcome unless the run details say otherwise.

Our main haunts are round the Peak District but we also explore other areas too.

A regular annual fixture is the Hangover Run on New Year's Day, when we meet in Leek Marketplace for a short run to Wetton Mill. Weather permitting of course.

During the winter, roughly between between September and May, we meet on the second Thursday of each month at 8pm. The venue is Moorville Hall Hotel, Leek Road, Werrington, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, ST9 0DG.
