Just 2 events on the calendar for November:

The last run of the year is Simon's Guy Fawkes  Run. As the original date was Remembrance Sunday, the whole of Leek town centre will be closed off. THE DATE HAS THEREFORE BEEN AMENDED TO SUNDAY 1ST NOVEMBER. Leave from Leek Market Place at 10.30am.

November clubnight on Thursday 12th will be a talk by John Young on getting his ex-NMM Quasar on the road. The Quasar will be in the room to look at. John gives up his time to do these talks to raise money for a local childrens cancer hospice charity, so plenty of support would be appreciated please. Feel free to invite anyone else who may be interested. Start at 8pm at Moorville Hall.

The section committee have decided that there will not be a December clubnight. Instead we will arrange a date for a pre-Christmas pub lunchtime meetup as last year. Date still to be sorted out and communicated but likely location is Wetherspoons in Stone.

If anyone fancies it, I will dig out my old Scalextric stuff and we'll have a race night at one of the early 2027 clubnights. Let me know if it appeals and I'll get it out and see if it still works.
